"My husband and I came here for the first time 41 yrs ago and that is when we both fell madly in love with Hawaii and each other. We stayed in the Rainbow Tower and chose to do the same this time. It has been remodeled and the amenities are great. The ocean view was beautiful and since we were on the sunset side, we enjoyed the incredible sunsets from our balcony. We also enjoyed the amazing fireworks on the beach on the Friday night that we arrived. Our room was so comfortable and loved everything about it. However, it would have been nice to be given a couple complimentary bottles of water a day. Our room was very clean and the staff was great. I asked for extra towels and a top sheet for the bed. Requests granted. One of the things I love about this place is that it is surrounded by beautiful shops and delicious restaurants. We had dinner twice at the Italian restaurant upstairs and once at the Japanese restaurant downstairs. And, of course, we had ice cream afterwards at Lapperts. We had several walks along the beach and the water was so refreshing. We came for our son’s wedding and they were staying at the Hilton Timeshare . It was all so easy."

"The property was clean and had everything we needed for our last minute change of plans! Was close to other things making getting around easy without a car. The only pitfalls were housekeeping skipped us a couple of times which is no big deal but when we really needed it just happened to be on days we needed it. The TV was hard to navigate and the balcony doors we couldn't close properly due to the doors or tracks being out of wack. Otherwise it was great watching the fireworks from our room on our first night."

"Very convenient to airport and free shuttle. Very nice free breakfast in a large cafe style room. The elevators were very slow and one of them was broken. Very confusing where the front lobby was located because of poor front entrance signage."
