You barely see any garbage outside the hotel and it’s always clean. The staff are also very friendly and kind, and I enjoyed their customer service. Might book here again if I ever come back.

The hotel is nice and clean , stuff is nice but the rooms are small

The staff at the front desk and housekeeping staff are wonderful people. Helping you all the time whether you need a direction or you need utensils or coffee flavours. Friendly smile and positive welcome. It’s a 3- star hotel but the services are 5 star. People please don’t expect to have big rooms or free parking in Waikiki. Read the details on their website about what they offer. Definitely gonna come back here for my next staycation too.

The window type airconditjon is old- noisy , need to change to split type aircondition

We had a fabulous time at the Holiday Inn Express Waikiki. It is about 15 min walk from the beach/main drag with shops along the way. We got our steps in but the weather made every day a beautiful walk.

The beach is within walking distance but it's a really long walk, not great for older folks. I brought my 84-year-old grandma and it was quite a trek to get to the property. The room with double beds and partial ocean view is meant for 4 adults but we are just 3 and it's way too cramped. There's barely any space to move around, especially with our luggage. We were on the 25th floor with no elevator, so we had to take the stairs down from the 26th floor. What a pain! We ended up getting another room because it was so stuffy and I felt claustrophobic. They should just have one queen bed to give more room. It was way too expensive for what we got. Not worth it at all. The housekeeping staff were nice though.

Parking is expensive. Being charged additional for amenities like the pool and pool towels not included in room price.
