Room was small but clean and appeared to have been recently refurbished. Very convenient for the Picturedrome event we were attending. Quite noisy as it was Saturday night but this wasn't a problem for us. Basic cooked breakfast included.

Fantastic pub, right next door to Nora Battys cottage. Staff were amazing, rooms were excellent. Couldn't ask for better.

Nice stay but slight bugs.
Posted 10 Mar 2024 on HotelsLike most hospitality they didn’t seem to have enough staff. The room was good but above the bar area and quite noisy. Breakfast was really good but we were not asked what we wanted we were just given a full English breakfast
There was no questions about allergies or if we were vegetarians.

No central heating in our room. We were cold and wet after our night out in Holmfirth and ended up with flu for Christmas!

Posted 31 Dec 2023 on HotelsThis is our 4th stay here, it was a nice surprise this year to see the rooms have had a beautiful refurbishment. The towels were soft and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely as well
