The biggest take away from the property was there was really no hot water for the showers either it was scorching or there was no hot water and when there was hot water, it only lasted for about two minutes. Although we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, the biggest issue with this was we spent a lot of time in the ocean so when it came time to washing the salt and the outside elements off of us, it was very inconvenient considering I had a two bad two bath apartment, so none of us really had hot water. Some things they don’t tell you is when you get there you rent your bath towels it’s five dollars a towel but you do get to switch them out as much as possible so that was convenient We did have a kitchen so we were able to buy groceries and cook. The basics were there, so that was very convenient. It is a convection stove so I enjoyed cooking on that. There was a washer and dryer in the unit so that was very convenient although the washer would reset itself multiple times causing for long wash times. There were large TVs in each room all were logged into Amazon prime so that was good for downtime. Housekeeping came around. We had one very good housekeeper. She did a good thorough cleaning But the other housekeeping did do the bare minimum we ended up assisting with the mopping and taking our own trash to ensure that it was done. If you were used to traditional washcloths, the small ones they do not have them so I suggest you bring your own.

I enjoyed a fabulous, restorative stay at The Palms Resort. I hope to return before too long. A great, peaceful setting and just what was needed to ensure my first visit to Barbados was wonderful.

The Palms Resort was excellent. The entire complex is very pretty with palm trees nicely placed to provide shade. The rooms were bright, clean and inviting. Each room has either a patio or balcony that you enjoy esecially at night when it's cool and the pool is lit up. Book with the Palms Resort. You wont regret it.
