We tried to check in two different times, one time being well after the check in time. The front desk told us they still didn’t have our room ready. They didn’t try to accommodate us until I spoke up and asked for any available room.

First of all, this hotel smells amazing. I know that is a weird thing to write but it has a subtle lovely clean smell. The staff was friendly and got us an early check in. The hotel bar/restaurant was very loud. The room and view were great once we figured out the master light switch! Didn’t use the room service but it was a great option. Tons of places to go within walking distance.

The property in general is a little tired and showing wear and tear. Otherwise, great location. Front desk staff was very accommodating, moved us efficiently to a better room shortly after check-in.

Lobby area was pretty and location is perfect. However, the rooms were musky, little to no water pressure in the shower. It was nearly impossible to wash the shampoo out of my hair. My husband was scrubbing the shower head to clean the “build up” off in hopes it’d help. No such luck. People in the hallways were so incredibly loud and obnoxious. We couldn’t wait to get home and actually get some sleep. I also paid for a water view and I could hardly see the water without twisting my neck to see the small little sliver from the room they gave us. My husband was totally repulsed by the condom pack they provide in the room. The last thing I want to think about is people having we in the bed I’m about to climb into. But as mentioned in the beginning, the hotel itself is cool in the lobby area and was very lively at night.

easy to get around lots of restaurants near by to eat, and close to training station to get to New york

I paid for a river view and the view was directly in front of the next building. It is criminal to sell that room as having a view. I want to upload photos to the website so other customers can be warned of their deception. Let me know if I am able to send the pictures. The front desk manager Brian Argenzio did nothing. Terrible, horrible, they should be ashamed of themselves.
