Sadly we only had a quick overnight stay here but we wish we had longer. This place was amazing. Super clean and close to lots of restaurants. You can see this place has a lot of history and we had fun making up stories about the building. Breakfast was great and the heated floors in the bathroom really were the cherry on top. We will definitely be back to stay!

Fabulous staff, Spotless room, Wonderful backyard, Warm environment, Great brewed coffee from a skilled and welcoming barista at breakfast...... Cannot wait to return and experience warm hospitality and serene surroundings once again... 👌

National Trust like experience
Posted 26 Feb 2024 on HotelsThe place looked impressive in the photos and was even better in person. It is well-restored, and we had a very comfortable room. Breakfast was OK, and the dining room was also impressive. It is effectively a bed and breakfast. When we checked in around 6:00 p.m., the fellow at the desk was going home. He indicated that he was already on call if we had a problem and gave us his mobile number. My wife was very pleased with my selection and would like to stay there again.
