We thought it was poor for a “luxury” hotel. Rooms were small. Cheap shower head. More trash containers needed. No complimentary waters in room. Poor signage or information as to where things are located.

Comfortable, quiet. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was spacious and well appointed.

The checkin time is 4pm, I came to hotel 5:30pm for checkin and was told the room is not ready so we went out for dinner, and back at 7pm, and the stuff showed us the room, they tried to fixed the ceiling, a ladder is in the room and the ceiling is open, the room was still not ready so I asked to get full refund and have to drive back home. Hope I get full refund soon.

Been to Viking many times over the years but not recently. It was OK but where were all the guests. Seemed to be more dogs (which is OK) than guests. Perhaps because I only stayed one night on Friday of Memorial Day. Room, I had was clen and everything functioned but seems to be outdated. The shower did not work properly in my daughter's room. Everyone was nice and friendly especially the valet staff. The $45 valet fee is ridicules (used to be$30). Breakfast was good and at a decent price, but service was not good. Supposedly short-staffed but no excuse. Staff seemed disjointed and usually get coffee right away, but it came with the meal. Perhaps I am being picky, but this is not what I am used to.

Luxury prices for a very average hotel. AC didn’t work and you have to request for a small fridge in the room. I didn’t know this and we had to toss out our food.

Liked the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. Also liked the lovely neighborhood and the walkability to restaurants and sights. Did not like the extremely small bathroom.

I was concerned because of the mixed reviews when I booked the trip but I was very pleasantly surprised that everything added up to a 5 star hotel. From walking in the door on arrival to checking out, our experience was perfect for an anniversary weekend. Thank you!

Highly recommended The Viking. Location is superb, staff was very friendly. Lobby area is beautiful and up to date. Our room was very comfortable and clean however rooms and hallway could use a little TLC
