The bed was untenably uncomfortable and there was just a curtain, rather than a door, on the capsules.

With no air conditioning in the capsules, it gets pretty warm inside. I had to open the curtain slightly to get some draft in. But that made it barely comfortable. Besides that I'm happy overall with the stay. The hotel is right in front of a street car stop so going to hiroshima station was very easy.

Budget friendly, no frills, for the price you couldn't ask for much.
Suits the budget backpacker, but probably more geared to the local salary man for an overnight stay.
Stayed for the experience, I wouldn't stay for more than 2 nights

The receptionist when we checked in (Rié Sohda) was absolutely lovely! Very high English proficiency and happy to talk with out-of-towners. She recommened us the local Toyo Carp game later that evening, and it was honestly one of my favorite parts of the trip! She made the stay one to remember!!
