This hotel is good but frankly overpriced (like most everything here). It is right on the beach, but the latter is small, rocky, and disappears during high tide.
Rooms are decent, and the facilities are OK. Warning - the poll is tiny and parking, while available, is very cramped and you may need to use the annex lot. The complimentary continental breakfast isn't anything to write home about.
Staff are pleasant enough, though YMMV.

I enjoyed a beautiful room with deck. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They are doing renovation at the hotel as well as surf n sand so views / beach little different feel with that in the works. I’d definitely return for longer visit!

We really liked our stay here. It needed a little TLC but understanding since it is right on the ocean. We would go back

The property is older but well maintained. Staff was helpful and kind. The room had a wonderful view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Laguna.

The beachfront is really amazing and we loved our ocean view. We also loved the fireplace and how walkable everything was. The location is excellent. The staff was mostly very friendly and helpful. It’s definitely dated and in need of upgrades. Also for how much we paid I would expect to not hear the floor above me squeaking or the next door neighbors having very intimate moments at 3am… also it would help so much if they turned down the lights at night, I didn’t sleep more than 2 hours the first night because the sheets were old and scratchy and the outside lights blared through the blackout curtains. But overall it was a nice time.

An older property with a facelift that is built into the cliff side gives European style vibes and easy beach access with an incredible view but prepare for lots of stairs and not so modern heat / air options. We had a plumbing issue with water and debris backing up into our bathroom sink overnight likely caused by years of people rinsing their sandy clothes in the sink which isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault.

This was one of the best vacations we have had! Super cute hotel right on the beach with spacious rooms and very friendly staff. It was quite, clean, and a great deck to see the ocean. We hope to stay here again when we return to the area!

Nick, Paige & Morgan provided the best service that any hotel should mirror them. Rooms were large, it is right on the beach, and very clean. We celebrated my sisters big bday and they made it they more special. Thank you!!
