The hotel is conveniently locate near the JR Station, but it was certainly there already 40 years ago. The hotel nees badly to be refurbished.
The room reeks of cigarette smoke, the toilet / bathroom are leaking.
The breakfast is Japanese only and very average. The coffee is very bad.
Staff does not speak English at all.
I do not recommen this hotel.

close to the railway station was a positive feature; the staff was not polite; the room was small; but good price for this average hotel!

Clean and decent hotel
Posted 5 Apr 2018Onsen was great. They had a sauna too. Room was clean and they provided all essentials. Staff was great. Only thing would be that we ordered a double room but the room turned out to be a semi-double instead so the bed was a bit small.

Hotel needs an update but handy for overnight
Posted 31 Mar 2018This is an old hotel, our room was shabby with old furnishings and an old bathroom. But it is not expensive and is close to the railway station so convenient for an overnight stay. We had a great meal at an izakaya around the corner to the right.

Posted 17 Aug 2017Despite what you read on your booking. This place does have a front deal. Friendly helpful staff. Clean tidy comfortable rooms. Very convenient for station and the castle.
