Great service, wide range of beers, delicious food
Posted 27 Oct 2023 on HotelsThe second time we’ve stayed here! Such good and friendly service! We loved the cosines in the bar, particularly with the fire going. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast at the Wisteria too.

Super friendly; a peaceful stay
Posted 27 Aug 2023 on HotelsGerda & Philip were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful with planning some close-by walks. Wisteria is in a very peaceful area and the sunny garden is great for enjoying one of the many beers on offer! Breakfast was delicious! A fantastic stay; we’ll be back.

Posted 23 May 2021 on HotelsWe truly enjoyed our stay here... it’s an adorable hotel in a small town with friendly staff and beautiful decor! We arrived later in the day without dinner reservations, but they quickly shared their food with us! The pork cheeks were delicious, as were the vegetables & croquettes. They have a great beer selection too! The breakfast was also nice ... the garden has a chicken pen & 2 goats! The whole garden was very well kept with cute antiques, plants, coy, etc! The hotel is modern, clean & quiet! I would return without hesitation!

Pros: Helpful and friendly proprietors.
Clean room and bathroom.
Nice breakfast.
Very nice property.
Cons: Perhaps a change of bed linen every day or every two days perhaps?
Location: This is a very quiet sleepy little town in the country away from the hustle and bustle of big cities.
Perhaps walks in the surrounding countryside.
I enjoyed my stay a great deal.
The breakfast was great.
The whole place was nice and clean.

Nice Hotel, but the "Included Extras" are $$$
Posted 24 Apr 2018This is a clean, lovely little hotel in the Belgian countryside, not too far from Brussels or Lille. They serve a nice breakfast with the stay, and the rooms are bright, clean, and comfortable.
That said, when I looked at the description of this property, one of the first things it said was that it has a sauna, whirlpool, and steam bath. Even under the area of extras that cost more, this was not mentioned.
When we wanted to use the spa facilities, we were told by the owner that it was a supplemental charge of 60 Euros. WHAT!?!? That is more than two thirds of the cost of the room!!
That is outrageous, and false advertising. If it had been 10 Euros, that would have probably been acceptable, but 60 Euros just to take a hot tub is ridiculous. They told us that if we only wanted to use one thing (like the whirlpool), there was a slight discount, but it was still super high.
If you want a nice, comfortable place to stay, this is nice. But don't count on using the "included" spa unless you are willing to blow some serious cash.
