I would have preferred an option to sleep on a western style bed due to my age
[80 yrs] and not on a traditional floor setting otherwise my stay was a delight.

We enjoyed our stay very much. So peaceful - just what we needed. Our room and all facilities were very clean and the attention to detail by the lovely staff really impressed. The traditional Japanese breakfast was equal to the best we have experienced in Japan. Highly recommend this guesthouse.

Had to wait 15 minutes to check in as room wasn’t ready. Not very busy so really no excuse for that

Tranquility in a Japanese setting.
A portable heater in the room made switch on and off clicking sound at night.
They did provide an itemised receipt, after questioning about overcharging our massages, they said that because we booked our accommodation through a third party. They had not mentioned the surcharge when showing me their listed prices.

From the welcoming tea in your room to the friendliness and helpful staff, I would certainly recommend this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble.

Pros: Very friendly welcome, delicious breakfast and the customer servic was outstanding
Cons: Couldn't point out a thing at all about something I didn't like
Location: Lovely space the hotel is located and the nature really buzzes around the hotel
