Thank you for your review. All guests receive a text 15 mins after arrival stating, "please let us know immediately if there are any problems with your room." I see you booked for 3 nights and did indeed stay both nights. I have notified housekeeping as well as maintenance regarding your review. I have looked for a report regarding your riverfront balcony, I am unaware there was anything reported during your stay. Did you call the front desk or reply to our text message to notify the staff? We are staffed 24/7 and would have moved you to a more suitable room or taken care of any issues there were with the room. I hope you enjoyed your stay in the village. The room wasn’t the cleanest. The refrigerator had moldy water standing in it, the shower was dirty, the bed had hair on it & the spread was dirty. I don’t think I would stay there again

Beautiful place and great location! Unfortunately they were doing roof work in the am.so I couldnt sleep in

We had extensive roof damage that had to be repaired immediately so the roofers had to begin Mon and Tues mornings before the next set of storms came through. Hopefully you will make it back this way soon. We'd love to have you as our guest.

Rooms were clean and a nice size. Great location to walk. Easy parking and friendly staff. I would stay again.

Our room had a balcony overlooking the Chattahoochee River, the sound of the water flowing over the rocks was so soothing. You walk right off the property into downtown Helen to eat great food and shop around at lots of unique stores. Cowboys and Angels is the closest, across the river, and they play great music you can hear from your room and they have amazing food. Helen is a great town to visit and the Helendorf is the perfect place to stay!

The Helendorf is an older hotel with unique architecture. The room was very clean, hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast area is cute and clean. Breakfast consisted of pre packaged items but had good variety. The hotel is in downtown Helen with shopping and restaurants nearby in walking distance.
