Pretty aweful. Bad WiFi ensured my onward progress is delayed. Hotel reception run by a youth who had greasy, dirty hands from repairing a car when I arrived. Difficulty booking in, difficulty in getting a meal. I eventually found ths chef who gave me a menu. Hotel owner/manager appeared for 10 min at 8pm to tell an expedia arrival she had to pay up front for her room or else. I'd have told him to stick his room. Parking, I was told to park offsite. They clearly have arepaorbusiness going on. Needs an inspection by the local authorities as the room was electrically unsafe as a 230V socket was black and falling off the wall.

Attention on service and investment in the rooms

We needed a place to stay close to the czech border. This was the closest to the border on hotels.com At first glance the price is reasonable but in the end i dont feel we got good value for money. The exterior of the building is fine, the welcome at reception was also fine. The room itself was tired and sparsely furnished. A bedside table with simple lamp would be a good addition. Cleanliness was ok. Shower sprayed water everywhere. Would be a cheap/simple fix. Dinner was a bit of a wait due to a party of 20 ordering just before us. The food was simple and again fine but a little overpriced. Decent profit margin on the food id wager. Breakfast was fine but no staff present. Another guest had to help us find cutlery. The manager did offer us free breakfast for the kids which was a nice touch. The restaurant area smelled strongly of cigarette smoke which was not to our taste as non smokers with young kids. Overall i was disappointed. With a little more focus on professional service and just a little investment in the rooms this could be a decent place to overnight on a long drive. Instead its a place i wont be visiting again.

Don’t book this hotel.

Don’t book this hotel. I had a terrible experience. First of all, we arrived at night 9 o’clock by car. We informed them in advance. And check-in time is till 10 o’clock. No body was there in reception. After 20 min (beaten by mosquito was included) found a phone number in the front gate rarely visible due to low light. Called the number and he said I’m informing my friend to help you. After few minutes a gentleman came down and took us a single room. He was just following the instruction on the phone. Then we showed the booking with double bed and 2 single bed. Then he said wait and then took us to the room. The room was clean tidy but the double bed was broken and uncomfortable. When I complained on the phone the guy from the other side threaten me to throw me out of the hotel. I had no clue how to react just said sorry I don’t want to argue to ruin my holiday. But he sent some people to my room and those people were really nice. And they said that’s the owner on the phone and he had lots of problem same day that’s why react like that. The staff of the hotel was excellent and services was excellent. But if someone threatened you at 9 o’clock at night to throw you out of the hotel that’s scary. I had 2 small children. I was about to call the police but the staff requested me not to do that.
