we had a nice stay l, the staff are super helpfum and friendly. The cafe view stunning but rooms very basic

Shocking

Hi, I am making a formal complaint. I made the booking through yourselves for a party of 10, we booked 2 rooms of 5. We had spent the day travelling along the west coast while stopping in several pubs, slowly working our way to our accommodation in Broad Haven. We arrived at our accommodation around 9:30 as we had guidelines to arrive by 10pm. We were then informed at reception that they would not accept our party as we were 5 to a room and that it did not comply with welsh government guidelines. I hope you can appreciate that the booking was made and accepted. Our minibus had already left as he had to stick to a time limit of hours driven and we were 1 and a half hours from home. We had to call him back to come to collect us. It had completely spoilt our day as we had plans for that evening and the following day. I had been given the task of arranging a stag do which was difficult given the restrictions that have been in place but we were wrongly turned away as welsh government guidelines state up to 6 households per room. We are very disappointed in the way we were treated by the staff and personally I felt that I had failed as best man in arranging a last night of freedom despite doing everything by the book. Our minibus could only manage a single drop off point for our return journey, this leaving several members of our party having to walk up to 6 miles home through country lanes. I hope you can reply with an explanation and possibly compensate. Many thanks.

Good evening Rhidian. I can understand your frustrations and disappointment regarding the outcome of your visit. We are very sorry that we could not accommodate you at this time. Unfortunately due to Welsh government guidelines in place regarding multiple households staying in holiday accommodation, we were not legally able to accept your booking. At the time of booking the guidelines were not as such - We ask that all guests during this pandemic check their local government guideline before arrival to avoid disappointment. We are very sorry that you were not able to stay and for the inconvenience the situation caused you and your party.

Amazing glamping
