No elevator. Apartment at level 4. You have to go through 6-7 set of narrow stairs. When you arrive up , you’re very tired. The location is unsafe. Prostitution street.

Hola Gervis, lamentamos que su estancia en el hostal no haya sido de su agrado, en la descripción especificamos que estamos ubicados en una cuarta planta sin ascensor, todos los edificios de la zona vieja no cuentan con ello, igual es lamentable que nos evalúe por la situación de la calle cuando es algo ajeno a nuestra instalación, saludos

The location is good, although its very noisy and busy when you get there at 1:30am in the morning on a Saturday evening. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. After the first night I felt very safe with them. Its easy to change to local currency at the hostal. They can arrange transfers to the airport. There is no lift so if you don't like stairs then you should not stay there. If I ever go back to Cuba, then I'll stay there again (I was Ok with the stairs). The people of Cuba are very friendly. I can also recommend a walking tour of the old city.
