Let’s just say I did not imagine taking a shower out of a bucket of water. They claimed to have loss water but the hilton (which is beside) did not. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!I did not get a partial refund

We visited recently for my Aunt’s 80th birthday 25 people on 4/16/24. For the price i was totally disappointed, I have been visiting Barbados for over 35 yrs and never had a bad experience until now. I first was put in a standard room when I paid for a suite and an old filthy one with stains on the rug and bed. I had to wait until 6pm while my family enjoyed the beach missing the entire sun in the fun. Finally got to my room and the mattress had holes, towels stained daily, toilet filthy around the bottom, worn out toilet seat in the half bath, make shift repairs painted over holes! I was there 4 days and the same stains never cleaned. I spoke to the manager whom I showed all pictures and still waiting on a call from the GM. All I received was a smile and a sorry when they should have offered me compensation because truly this is the only way corrections are made with profit loss. The property on the outside beautiful will smell so clean in the lobby but the rooms need work and housekeeping needs serious training!!!! Lots of stairs, stairs and stairs not recommended for elderly or people with knee or back issues. I would not recommend this location if you want cleanliness especially for the price.

I enjoyed myself, the only thing was they need to have more options for people that are vegan, and who dont eat pork other than that im going there again in August.

The property was very clean but the alcohol hurt my stomach both times I had it. Dining was limited and for late night arrivals there’s not even a vending machine open past 8pm. Staff advised to not walk the streets at night so you might go to bed hungry. The beds only have a single sheet on them no comforters. Good water pressure though unlike Accra.

I had not eaten all day and the restaurant was fully booked. They said I would have to wait for everyone to be served before I could order to go and then told me the only thing I wanted ( cheese plate) was not available. The buffet the next day was unappealing and expensive so I didn’t eat there.

The worst vacation My family and I have ever exper

My experience at the Savanna Hotel in Barbados was mixed. The rooms, especially the showers, were disappointing, resembling outdated conditions with rusted fixtures and cracked tiles. While the AC in one room worked, the other required five days for maintenance since my check-in on the 24th. Service varied among staff, with some being helpful and friendly, but others in need of an attitude readjustment. The all-inclusive food service lacked diversity, primarily centered around pork, and there was minimal consideration for dietary needs. The daily menu remained unchanged. As an early riser, I faced challenges with the lack of coffee, water, and beverages before 7:30 am or even later. Accessing coffee required climbing five flights of stairs, and it wasn’t promptly available. Surprisingly, the hotel lacked room service, a departure from my experiences in other Caribbean hotels. On a safety note, the floors were excessively slippery; my son, recovering from a football injury, slipped and fell with no assistance available. Overall, while the Savanna Hotel has no merits, improvements are needed in various aspects to enhance guest experience and safety. In our rooms there were sights of cockroaches the place was very unsanitary.
