Had two bedroom unit, v spacious for family of four, this made up for condition of unit. Tired but ok, would stay again. Good heating.

Unit 8 is small for 4 people it smells no place to dine, table had the TV on it. The unit was old and very tired, bathroom very tiny and old with an intense very unpleasant smell. Beds were extremely soft. Heating was a small wall heater that had all the TV box and cords in front of it so unsafe to use.

Our room was very dark and we had to use lights all the time, otherwise happy with our stay.

The Owner was very obliging, as due to CHC being booked out & a midnight flight arrival, we knew if would be a 3am arrival. He kindly left the unit unlocked for us. While the place is showing it's age & use, it was clean & tidy, the shower was great, the sheets were clean & the beds comfy. We slept well.
Would I use Larchwood Motels again? Without hesitation. It's value for money indeed.
I have to say, I enjoyed teh chat with the owner teh next morning. A cheerful & kind man.

Pillow old and flat. 1 pillow per person. Shower dirty, with mould. Clearly not cleaned in years.
Bed was okay.
Location not to bad.
Needs updating in rooms. Not worth the price, even as a budget motel.

Thank you for your comment! We have asked the cleaner to give a special cleaning of the shower. There are spare pillows in the cabinet at the foot of the bed.
