Everything was great. Our host, Ximena was kind and helpful. Room was large, cleam and very comfortable. Location was perfect, within a short walk to the ocean and the Moai. We strongly recommend this property.

Excellent stay
Posted 30 Oct 2023 on HotelsIt was a pleasure to stay here . Ximena is a wonderful host. It’s a nice 10 minute walk into town and there was a couple of convenience stores located nearby. She also has a car available for rent .

Property exactly as described and very clean. It has a grocery store out front and is an easy 10min stroll from the ‘sunset moai’ and 15min stroll from the town centre. The proprietor was very friendly and super helpful throughout my stay.
If the property could get a sofa or two it would be perfect (both inside and the balcony had armchairs but a sofa to stretch out on would be nice) but the photographs displayed it clearly so no complaints. Really enjoyed my time there.

We just loved staying here. Our cabin was so cute and it felt more like a home than a hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to stay at. It is only like a 10min walk into town. Its very quite and secluded. We had a wonderful stay.

An amazing place in Easter Island
Posted 14 Feb 2023 on HotelsCabanas Raupa is absolutely an amazing place to stay. The room, facilities and Ximena, the host owner is a wonderful woman. She’s very attentive and helpful. The free pick up and drop off to and from the airport was also very good.

Fantastic cabanas stay.
Posted 5 Dec 2022 on HotelsFantastic newly renovated cabanas with daily cleaning. It was a ten minute walk to Ahu Tahai and the must see museum, and to the main street Atamu Te Kena.
Communications with Ximena was prompt, who collects and returns you from the airport.
We did basic self catering for 4 of 6 nights.
We will always reserve Cabañas Raupa if we visit Rapa Nui.

Great stay in Rapa Nui!
Posted 15 Jul 2019 on HotelsXimena and Soledad were so welcoming and helpful during our visit. We could not have asked for more. The cabanas are perfectly located a short walk from the downtown shops, restaurants, car/scooter rental and tour operators.

We always do our best to satisfy our guests, unfortunately we do not know what you did not like, since during your stay you did not tell us anything bad about the accommodation. If you had told me during your stay what seemed wrong, we would have done everything necessary to fix it. We gave you an early check-in and a late check-out free of charge, we made transfers for you, we even changed your towels every day, which is a very unusual requirement on an island with very limited natural resources, such as water. Although we want our guests' stay to be perfect, we are aware that it is not always possible to please everyone, however we always do our best, and this time we did it too.
