Super friendly check in staff. Made to feel very welcome and greeted by my name which was impressive! Lovely big room, fantastic bathroom. Right opposite station so great for getting a bite to eat. Loved Hamburg! Quirks of hotel: corridors are a bit of a maze and it’s easy to get lost, but that’s the only negative and I would stay here again for sure!

I stayed here a night to catch a very early train in the morning. It was very convenient. (Also a favourite restaurant about 800 metres down the street.) Reception staff were very good. Room was also very good.

Very convenient given that the hotel is right by the main train station where all public transportation make a stop.

We enjoyed the hotel for its excellent location. The room was very comfortable once you finally got to it. It’s very convoluted getting from the entrance to any of the rooms. Bring breadcrumbs as you take an elevator or stairs and then follow the blue carpet three different directions till it takes you down a flight of stairs to walk through another room until you find the second elevator and then go up to your floor (which doesn’t correspond to your room number) quirky, but fine. The room and beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom was good, though no washcloths. The room was noisy but it ended up being mostly user error as we missed one of the open windows. It’s located right by the train station, so it’s excellently located for getting around town on the Ubahn or Sbahn. The breakfast seemed expensive for what you get, but it’s convenient. There are plenty of places nearby to get s fresh hot breakfast for half the cost. It’s all just a buffet with things sitting out. The hotel is close to two wonderful art museums and the theater district.

The hotel being next to the train station made getting around very easy. The room was quite small but well appointed.

Disappointing stay.
Posted 14 Dec 2023 on HotelsDisappointed with the room, although it was clean, it was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room lacked facilities, no tea or coffee making, just a bottle of water.
IT WAS NOT A CHEAP ROOM at €110 per night.
