Friendly conviently located for our needs

Superb reception staff, but breakfast staff were a bit aloof and grumpy. Room service staff did not carry out two requests correctly. Beds were poorly made up. No female sanitary bags were provided. Breakfasts were well laid out and gave a lot of choice, but cooked items were not hot, and the plates were cold. The hotel itself was a very pleasant place to stay.

We picked this hotel mainly because of its facilities and the convenient parking, it was everything that we had hoped for. The room was good the reception was excellent and the bar and restaurant had good staff. Overall the staff were young but very efficient.

Accommodating in trying circumstances

We did an emergency dash to see an elderly relative leaving on Christmas Day evening & driving through the night, to see them on Boxing Day morning, so we were very glad we were allowed to check in a little early after our visit, so we could get some sleep. We were also pleased that the chef prepared us a meal for dinner that we had in the bar, when the hotel was holding a Festive Buffet & a 5 course dinner for 100's of people due to it being Christmas.
