This is a great place to stay at. The staff person is very nice and helpful. Everything is within walking distance. Plenty of food choices in the area. Loved it.

I absolutely loved my stay here. At first I was a little worried as you have to go down an alley to find the property but it is absolutely beautiful.
Room was great: super comfy bed, heated floor, air conditioning, fridge, super spacious bathroom.
Breakfast is excellent: toast, cereals, fresh fruits and veggies, and an egg and bacon cooked by the host, as well as drink options. And all for free!!
Great location too - close to lots of cafes, restaurants, shops. Also close to some of the main Gyeongju tourist attractions. It is a little far from a bus stop, but not too bad. I would recommend getting a taxi to and from though if you have suitcases!
Overall highly recommend this stay!

This is a very nice boutique guest house located in the center of Gyeongju town. The host is a very nice young man who cooks breakfast for every guest. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our three-day stay at the Naganjae, a traditional-looking inn or hanok with all the modern conveniences in the Hwangnam-dong neighborhood of Gyeongju. There are just three very clean and comfortable rooms and an airy breakfast room facing a pretty courtyard - so a lovely and intimate respite from the busy world outside.
A few minutes walk from the Naganjae will find you in a lively downtown area full of one-of-a kind shops, restaurants and cafes, while a longer walk or bus ride will take you to many beautiful and fascinating cultural and historical locations for which Gyeongju is famous. The proprietor is a quiet but very helpful young man who cooked a tasty and healthy breakfast each morning, and also arranged a taxi ride to the train station for us upon request. We would highly recommend the Naganjae for anyone who wants to have a more personal and traditional stay while in Korea.

My friends and I loved our stay at Naganjae! It's walkable to shopping and dining, but a block or two away for a quieter respite. I'd highly recommend staying here and plan to book again in the future.

Can’t ask for anything more. Even provided face masks for us to refresh 😀
