Due to booking through Travelocity we ended up getting a different cabin which was not pet friendly and it was handicapped. The person we spoke with had to give it to us anyway bc it was the only one left. There was not a lot of seating room inside the cabin and no oven due to it being handicapped. I would have preferred a little more room.

Great stay. Very clean. Loved the wood features inside. The only thing wish there was a TV in the bedroom. The only TV was in the kitchen and the couch was not directly facing the TV so we had to adjust. Overall great stay. Will visit again.

When we arrived, we were informed that there was an issue with booking. The cabin that we were supposed to get was given to a last minute person due to a problem on their end. We were forced into the handicap cabin. It is fine yet we had anticipated a stove (brought our own food to cook). Unfortunately, we did not have a stove and that was a waste of time. Just call ahead to make sure what cabin you are getting.

Unfortunately I think you may have us confused with another campground because we have one handicap cabin which was booked through Expedia and every guest that has been in that cabin was the one that was booked in that cabin. Most of our cabins have been vacant recently so in a situation like you described our handicap cabin would never be used as a back up cabin. All of our cabins are equipped with stoves, however our handicap does not have an oven. We personally do a walk through with all of our guest upon thier arrival and are available your entire stay for any issues that may arise. I hope that this clears up any misconception of our camper cabins for any guest that wish to book in the future. You can also go to our website at Lake Guntersville State Park to see a list of the amenities in the cabins. Pictures of our cabins inside and out can be found on the Expedia website. RRM camp host
