Quiet clean budget room with comfy bed. Shared bathroom clean and good hot shower. Meets the needs if you are after secure and clean budget accommodation.

Old school type of hotel that's a throwback to a bygone era but still nicey kept. Had a very pleasant overnight stay while in town. Very close to The Prince of Wales Hotel (where check in took place) where you could get a good meal.

description deceiving it said 2 bathrooms 1 shared bathroom it was shared across a shared hallway lounge and dining Room nothing like pics was under staircase so heard everything creak and noise from above Old floorboards left without staying 2nd night hated it

Thanks Darylyn for your feedback, Im sorry your stay was not as you expected and found the description deceiving. I can assure you this was not my intention. I have contacted Expedia to request the wording be changed for our listing to help our future guests when choosing their rooms.We do have 2 shared bathrooms upstairs and 1 bathroom on the ground floor. The 2 ground floor rooms share the 1 bathroom that is across the hallway. The 1920's double story building staircase is very grand to some guests loving the history however I guess its not for everyone. I only wish you would have got in touch so we could have moved you a room more suitable.
