Beautiful views, gorgeous beach/water, fantastic outdoor amenities at the state park across the street, nice pool area and beach at hotel. Restaurant had great buffet breakfasts with made-to-order eggs. Dinner was reasonably good also. Would stay there again, probably MUCH nicer than renting a VRBO, due to the hotel amenities. Only complaint is the noise--kids wailing and crying, you could hear it down the hall, from the balcony, everywhere. Maybe they might consider locating couples in a different area than families?

The loading and parking situation is very awkward and poorly set up. The rooms and property were very clean snd comfortable. All staff we envountered were friendly and helpful.

Hi Nancy,Thank you for your review and your compliments for our clean and comfortable rooms, and our friendly staff hotelitarians. We understand the concerns with parking. Our hotel property is designed to preserve the natural dunes of the beach, so our layout is long east to west along the beach, rather than long north to south. The additional benefits are that you get a beautiful view of the Gulf as you make your way to your room. Fun fact about the parking spaces too, as you may have noticed, the uncovered parking spaces are permeable (a grid made of recycled plastic). This allows for rainwater to drain directly into the ground. We do apologize if the walk seemed excessive. Thanks again for your comments.

I stayed here about 4 years ago and it was excellent This trip however the beds were so hard I never went to sleep. Probably won’t stay here again.

Beach area was nice. However, the location was off the main path with little to do within walking distance. The pool area was very nice. The food at the pool grill was good. The rooms were very dated, poor lighting in bathroom and the hallways were dingy and dark. Overall we wouldn't stay again for the price.

It was a great relaxing trip. Everything you needed was in walking distance. Highly recommend visiting!
