We did a last minute reservation while driving along the Norwegian coast, and were lucky to find this great lodge. Even though we arrived late at night, the lady owner was waiting for us, and even upgraded our room for a larger one with a nice view of the water and fjord. The lodge is located on a somewhat secluded area away from heavy traffic, with its own little fjord beach. Its a great place to sit back and relax, that I hope to be back one day.

Stunning property overlooking the Fjords with nice walks in close proximity to the Hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Will stay at again!

Extremely rude manager ruined the whole experience
Posted 17 Jun 2019 on HotelsFirstly we arrived at 18.30 to check in, we were hoping to eat in the restaurant but we're told it closed at 6. There is nothing in the local area, the nearest place for food was a 2 hour round trip away. The first lady at reception was really apologetic and tried to do her best but the chef was being difficult and the best we could get was a ham sandwich. When this arrived it was in fact half a sandwich. The next day when we checked out we had a slight issue and the manger was absolutely disgraceful. She was so rude and unhelpful, she even started shouting at us. I have never in my life been spoken to like that as a paying customer. Disgusting attitude and I would advise you avoid this place like the plague.

Dear customer, if You put this to public, then You should give correct information. First of all You have been offered some food even after kitchen hours ( Sundays) but You refused it . Next day when You were checking out , You refused to pay for accommodation insisting it was already paid which was not correct, (thats the thing You called - slight issue ). You was very rude to us when we told that You have to pay, told us to call hotels.com platform , even though it was clear to us that Your bill is not paid. Thank you to other person who came back and apologized for Your mistake and paid which You couldnt do. Honestly we never had such impolite and dishonest person in our hotel.
