A beautiful building with interesting features. Attention to detail, polite helpful staff. Peaceful grounds. A couple of dining options and quiet tasteful areas to sit and relax, have a drink etc

Staff are vey attentive, polite and respectful.
It is a very relaxing place to stay, peaceful, beautiful and clean throughout the Hall.
Rooms are a very good size and very clean.
We never tried the restaurant but if the standard of meals from the bar/grill, which we had, are anything to go by, I have no doubt they will also be delicious. Breakfast excellent range of choice and again delicious. We have previously had afternoon tea here and Highly recommend it and also staying here. Great stop off on way the Whitb.

What a gem

Relaxed luxury

Birthday break
Posted 3 Jan 2024 on HotelsWe went for a short break to celebrate my 70th birthday. The staff were wonderful and the room spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food was okay, but nothing special for the price. We only ate at the hotel the first evening and ate in Guisborough for the other evening’s because of this. Because the hotel knew it was a special birthday, I thought they might have given us a free drink or something, but they didn’t, oh well.
