Hotel restaurant and bar were closed for our whole stay, no activities either, WiFi didn’t work and still charged daily resort fee

Please accept our sincere apologies for falling short. I truly appreciate the feedback which can only help us to improve. It is true that our restaurant is open for dinner Thursdays through Mondays at the moment (closed for dinner on Tuesdays and Wednesdays), although we do offer breakfast options 7 days a week - I can certainly understand that even though there are wonderful alternatives within walking distance of the resort, your expectation was that our restaurant would be open every evening. Regarding activities and our resort fee - we offer a wide variety of resort amenities available on request daily as part of the resort fee - including our bicycles, kayaks, river tubes, bird-watching binoculars, picnic blankets, sketch book & pencil sets, and yoga/meditation equipment. I note that during your stay we also offered nightly s'mores at our fire pits, and a complimentary yin yoga class - and I will follow up with the team to ensure that we are communicating this information to future guests well. Lastly, I am sorry to learn that you had difficulty with the wifi - which is not the feedback we usually receive. I appreciate the note and will follow up to ensure it is addressed for future guests. Once again, please accept my sincere apologies, as well as my thanks for sharing your feedback.

Very friendly staffs, great location River Access, The Lodge restaurant has delicious cocktails & foods. Will definitely return soon!

Nice rooms - a few details to work out - like the never drying shower curtain. But overall very nice stay and good sleeps.

My encounter was exceptionally exasperating. Numerous 'complimentary' amenities were inaccessible due to weather, but charges were still applied. Several additional fees were not disclosed during check-in, and my inquiries resulted in a flood of emails containing excuses. The staff's impoliteness and lack of helpfulness further heightened my frustration. The restaurant service felt rushed, and the food was merely average. The location is attractive, but it certainly isn't worth the stress. I regret not reading reviews before visiting.

I am so sorry to hear that your experience communicating with us was so frustrating. And, I sympathize with your disappointment that some of our amenities were affected by the rain (our outdoor pool, and our firepits & s'mores). For the benefit of others who may be considering staying with us, kindly note that all taxes and fees are disclosed during the reservation process, and include a 10% resort fee which provides a wide range of amenities (rain or shine), 14.195% taxes, and a 1.00 per night Community Impact Program fee which is a donation to a local charity that does wonderful and important work. This reservation information is then also confirmed via email. Regarding your characterization that the staff was impolite, unhelpful, and sent you a flood of emails - I was both saddened and surprised by this - as we usually receive compliments about the kindness and generosity of the staff. After reviewing the email exchanges, I note that the team responded to each of your emails in a timely and professional manner, addressing your questions/concerns and thanking you for your feedback at each time. Again, I am truly sorry that your experience with us was so frustrating.
