Lovely Umbrian Castle stay experience!

Wonderful castle hotel in Umbria. Beautiful room, facilities, staff were amazing. Such a peaceful, idyllic location for easy day trips to surrounding sites. Really good restaurant.

Great place to relax and unwind. The restaurant was above average with a great wine selection. And it’s very close to beautiful Gubbio.

Stayed here for three nights, and really enjoyed it. We used it as a base for visiting Assisi, Gubbio and Perugia, all of which are within an hours drive. Lovely restored building, with charm and character, friendly staff, an excellent choice at breakfast and overall, very good value for money. Didn't use the restaurant in the evening, so can't comment, although it seemed popular, even with the limited menu. The pool is not very big, but it was clean, and we saw it being maintained every morning. You'll need a car if staying here, as it's in the middle of the countryside, and the drive from the road is about a 3-4km long. The nearest village doesn't have any facilities worth noting either.

Castello In Umbria

This was a ver relaxing hotel, if you are looking for a romantic few days away be warned as we were there Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3 nights, there was a wedding held on each night (with between 100 - 150 guests). I think this hotel should decide whether it is a romantic escape hotel or a wedding venue.

Struttura immersa nel verde, location propedeutica ad efficace relax. Ristorante ottimo con prezzi non eccessivi. Ottima la cantina dei vini. Camere in ordine, pulite e molto belle. Personale disponibile. Colazione ottima, con presenza di prodotti locali e dolci fatti in casa. Spa eccellente con personale simpatico e preparato. Struttura fiabesca.
