The property was very pretty and quaint. Initially had an issue which was very musty. I requested another room and was immediately moved to a perfect room. Front desk staff was very apologeticand escorted me to another room. Room encircle a very pretty patio filled with plants.

Really convenient place to stay! Would recommend for longer stays or working vacations. Strong wifi, nice rooms and near lots of amenities. The kitchens were stocked nicely and the communal spaces were comfy. The only “issue” was coming and going you are waiting for the concierge to open the door but normally he was somewhere obvious/easy to get his attention.

The staff were extremely friendly; The property is near everything; we had a car and ere able to park next to the hotel; Beautiful, spacious clean room. The only negative is the noise around there. Car alarms going off in the middle of the night, police sirens and music playing at 9am (maybe the music was only due to it being December)

Vivotel exceeded our expectations. The place is really modern once you enter and very well maintained, it is designed very well, the decor was very warm and welcoming with several seating area and even a little lounge space in the back. The rooftop has an all around view of the city and is great to hang out and chat, it also included a newly launched restaurant where you can grab some drinks and food. The apartment itself gave a very homely feeling, with kitchen and mini dining area, living, bathroom and spacious bedroom. Keypad entry for each apartment, motion sensor lights in the hallways so you'll always know when someone enters the floor, 24hr security guard, security room, laundry room on the main floor and an elevator though we preferred the stairs. The street is very calm and quiet and at night, and in the day just a block over you'll find one of the busiest streets with everything you can think of. Very safe as you have multiple police and army patrols up and down. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, we had no issues at all. Definitely will go back.

The apartment was wonderful in that it was remodeled and very updated, the bed was comfortable, and the decor was very nice. But, I feel like I was in a fish tank because anyone in the hallway or the apartment across from me could watch me in the kitchen and living room 24/7. The blinds are mesh and totally see through. I'm a private person and was uncomfortable with this situation. My other problem was there is no heat and being an interior unit there was no sun during the day to warm up the rooms. I would guess I lived with 55-60F (13 to 15C) temps while I was there trying to get work done.

Beautiful hotel.

I loved this hotel. It’s located in the heart of Guatemala City. For me it was a surprise to find such a nice place in zona 1 where you see only old buildings.

The place was clean the staff was very nice. The loud noise coming from the bar in the terrace it feel like they were literally outside our door for like a 1hr and 30 min. We felt we were in danger. Please ask if they have closed that bar in the last floor before you book.

The rooms in the property were very nice. We had the 3 bedroom, but only one restroom. It was gated property so that felts very safe inside. The lower rating has more to do with the lack of communication. Even though we speak the language they were just not very accommodating. We had to ask for someone to take out trash, give more toilet paper, and provide fresh towels.

Came back from a days trip very tired and there was construction work going on next to us from midnight to around 3:30 am. Communicated this to person in charge who apologized but nothing else. My son more than anything who had the bedroom right next to the noise was not happy. The other issue is having to call every other day for bathroom supplies as we stayed there for a whole week. I will say the staff was very courteous.
