Sub par service and amenities!

The resort is located in a very pretty island but sadly they can’t provide with the amenities and service that is required of a resort charging the rate for a luxury resort. I stayed here for my honeymoon and their WiFi never worked. The coffee maker and other equipment in the room are just for decoration so don’t expect them to work. The hair dryer didn’t work. The TV had parental lock password. The staff had no clue about how to help us with these matters and acted surprised when we were asking for help as if it is not their job and we were asking for too much. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are expecting standard services.

The property and room were clean but both headboards in our room were broken and not attached to the beds so when we moved at night they would bang against the wall. I told the front desk the next morning and the girl said someone would fix them that day. The cleaning staff came later and said no one was there to fix them and they were aware of the broken headboards but couldn’t fix them. Huh? There was also a substance in the tub that didn’t look healthy so I tried to clean it myself. The cleaning staff said it was glue and they couldn’t clean it either. Again, huh? What about a putty knife? We wanted to try the resort restaurant on our last evening there since we heard the lobster ravioli was so good. We live in Naples, Florida where dining out isn’t cheap but this was ridiculous. No bread was served, no salad with your $32 meal. We received 4 ravioli and a bill for $140 for three meals (one was tacos). Their mandatory 15% gratuity which consisted of the waitress brining us one plate of food, and a VAT tax by the government really pushed up the bill. We always tip 18% at least but this whole meal was ridiculously expensive. My son commented on how he was still hungry. I had to agree. We left the resort and went to town to find something else to eat. I’ve never had such a crazy experience in any restaurant.

We have been able to address the glue mark on the bath tub as well as the movement of the headboard and we appreciate you bringing both to our attention so that our club rooms remain in pristine condition. The Lobster Ravioli dish has been our number one selling dinner entree for three years running now and is consistently reviewed as one of the best dishes in Abaco. The pasta is made from scratch in our kitchen daily and hand stuffed with fresh lobster that is speared by local fishermen. We pay great attention to detail of the quality and freshness when it comes to our menu items and for that reason we must charge $32 for this menu item in order to ensure the highest standards are met even in such a remote location. Thank you for visiting our out island location and we hope despite your concerns you enjoyed a wonderful vacation together on Green Turtle Cay!

Unique location and property. Quaint accommodations. Amazing food. A bit isolated for a long-term stay, but for a couple of days, it was perfect!
