This property had friendly staff that were very helpful with any issue that arose! It was walkable to nearby to restaurants, convenience stores, and the beach.

Perfect base to explore beautiful Lindos
Posted 1 Jul 2023 on HotelsWe had five nights at Xenones while staying in Lindos for a wedding and it was perfect. It's in a great location for exploring the town and is right on the doorstep of all the bars and restaurants. We understand the larger hotels along the main road allow people to use their pools for the price of a drink which we did on one occasion and I'd recommend that - stay right in the heart of it at Xenones but the option of a pool is there. The terrace at Xenones where they serve breakfast and drinks is lovely with beautiful views over the town and of the Acropolis. We were in room D15 and the little shared courtyard outside was lovely for enjoying lunch or an evening drink. The rooms are fine with a decent size bed, lots of storage and a small kitchenette and bathroom. The very efficient aircon is free (just make sure you turn it off when out) and there is a small safe (although it's not bolted down - but the place is very secure). One tiny thing I would say is the kitchen could be slightly better equipped - there was no sharp knife, chopping board, olive oil, salt, pepper etc as you often get in self catering but it wasn't really a problem as we only made food a handful of times. Arther is a fantastic and very friendly host and nothing is too much trouble and before our arrival Andy was very helpful in assisting us with where to park. (Xenones is a short walk from one of the town's main car parks so very handy). We would throughly recommend Xenones for any Lindos stay.

Great value with friendly staff
Posted 24 Nov 2022 on HotelsGreat value for an uncluttered apartment with all needs met for an independent traveller. Clean bathroom with hot shower, kitchenette ( 2 hobs + kettle and fridge) Iron + board, wardrobe & drawers plus safe.

For starts, finding the place took us 2 hours, gps sent us to a subsidiary with no people to help. 3 numbers provided of which no whatsapp, only international call.
Second, the room was OK and nice view, but bathroom and kitchen stench made at times our stay unbearable. Sinks were installed without siphon.
Not to be repeated.

Let us point out that it's your responsibility to let us know up front with your estimated time of arrival. Given then fat that we are not a hotel our manager Arthur attends limited hours per day. All of our hundreds of visitors every year know this and follow our instructions, hence receiving easy to use self check in steps. Iam sure you are not expecting us to have someone on the spot 24/7.Our manager is one call away. You had his mobile phone and you could only call him for 5 seconds . You messaged us and although we had no information we responded immediately.Our rooms are above average comparing to those of the village and always in our price range. We are confident that for one night you stayed with us, this should not be an issue. Sinks are installed likewise in all Greece. Of course there are siphons, otherwise the water would not go to the drains. Hence not sure what exactly you are trying to say Hope to be given the chance and welcome you back. Kind regards,Andy

Excellent value for our one night stay. Isn’t the easiest reception area to find.
The bathroom is a bit dated but overall the whole place was spotless.
We had an outside area with table and chairs, also a drying area.
I would definitely recommend for a short stay.

Unfortunately my stay in this hotel was not a pleasant one. The rooms look cute in the photos and some really are. The reality however is that the photos can be very misleading. Our room was in a basement style courtyard. There were many annoying factors like a super noisy and not well functioning air-conditioner ,insects of all types ... especially the hundreds of tiny ants and bad bathroom equipment. The worst part however was for me the absolutely horrible matress. I could feel the metal springs piercing my back all night long. On the positive side the neighborhood is quiet and the property has an elevated level of security. Considering the high price and expectations this property rather let us down.

Given the fact that you have decided (for your own reasons) to post this review with out leaving your name, we are unable to track your reservation and go through your comments / complaints.
On the other hand we welcome your direct email to us.
In regards to your comments though, let us underline the following :
1. We offer the most or one of the most value for money accommodations in the village comparing to the rest of the choices you might have and based on our overall services. Our prices are 60% lower Vs 2019/2020 and these range between 50-70 euro per night for 2 during the high season, during which we assume you stayed in. If you consider the fact that from this amount there aprox 45% in agent fees, commissions and taxes we believe you will agree this is a bargain.
2. Mattresses quality are in line with our category and the fact that we offer basic , clean, safe village accommodation. We are unable to satisfy all of our guests. We are sorry if these too soft for yourselves.
3. Our property is in the country side. Occasionally and even if we proceed with certified pest controls often, there might be indents. This is normal in the Mediterranean islands. On the other hand you could have addressed this in person, while staying with us and we would gladly have taken all the necessary actions. Same applied for the noise of the a/c you claim has been an issue.
4. Our photos are not even professional. During the 15 years of our operation there has not been a similar complaint. In fact the opposite. Our guests usually telling us that they had lower expectations comparing to what they have finally experienced. All in all we underpromise and overdeliver and not the opposite.
5. Lindos structure is very unique and specific. There are no floors and balconies as forbidden likewise there are not basements. Village is famous for the ground level, pebble sharing courtyards studios. You have been definitely accommodated to one of our beautiful studios with nice gardens with the option always to use for free 24/7 our common roof top terrace just 10m away from them.
Finally we are sorry we have not managed to meet your expectations, while ourselves and our fabulous team really trying so hard 2 years now to keep the property in good shape, under extremely difficult and dangerous conditions because of Covid and more over challenging times for our business when it comes to the financials, but we would like to welcome you back if you give us the chance and show you our hospitality. We are confident you will love it.

Our photos are totally correct and 10 years old, in order not to overpromise and underdeliver.
Your review is very generic to us "hundred is ants of all types " "bad bathroom" etc. Hence we feel given our reputation and being in business for decades we should not answer further moreover when you mentioned absolutely nothing during your stay.
Mattresses are brand new or max 1-2 years old. Unfort we are unable to satisfy every guest, as majority of them ask for soft ones.
All in all we feel that we have ticked the boxes of the very affordable price we have charged you .
