Apartment was basic but roomy and very clean, with big beds. Views from the balcony were amazing! And all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Huge pool and loads of sunbeds in relation to the property (no need for anyone to get up early and claim them. Beach is accross the road with plenty of free sun beds. All in all it was perfect for us with only the fridge in our room being a touch on the small side our only issue.

lovely apartment but lack of places to eat close by.

As there were no cooking facilities in the apartment and only a very small fridge, it was necessary to eat out at night but there were no places within walking distance so a car was necessary or buses and taxis to take you into Kardamena. However, there was a poolside bar that sold snacks during the day.

This place is a hidden gem. Family run business. I found this place via Google maps. I am so pleased with our stay.Stayed for 7 nights There is a pool with a bar. Open the same time as the pool from 10 am to 7 pm and they sometimes stay late open in the bar to 8 pm. Their waffles are delicious a long with their salads and omelettes. The local beer is really good to and they make some mean cocktails as well. The local bus stops next door. This property also has beach access with lounge chairs ( no charge which is rare). Ocean view from most rooms. The only negative is that you pay 5 euro per day extra if you want to use the AC in your room. I would return to this location anytime.

nice apartment close to beach

Clean and tidy room and nice pool with bar.
Mr George's is a really nice owner who tries to please you all the time.
If you can stay here at sweet kalimera then do so and have your breakfast and dinner at the mammis hotel down the road which is a 15 mins walk towards Kardamena town.
Don't go near kalimera mare which is next door as they are not willing to serve you dinner if you pay them, only breakfast.
Without breakfast and dinner facilities I'd give this place 9.5 out of ten.

Amazing hotel, amazing views

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: 1 minute walk from the beach, 2 minute walk from a small shop for water and snacks, 5/10 minute drive from the town centre.
Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Went as a young couple and were treated exceptionally well by the staff, offered lifts to the town, given information on transport/restaurants/bars, allowed late check in and check out to fit around our flights etc. So close to the beach, literally a walk across the road - free sun loungers from the hotel, so feels like your own private section of the beach! Quiet and peaceful atmosphere, large, clean pool, good wifi, huge comfy beds with daily housekeeping and lovely balconies. The food at the hotel is perfect for little lunchtime snacks but no dinner available - which was fine for us as there is a 5 minute bus journey that stops outside the hotel every hour, so we tried lots of restaurants in the town. Honestly the loveliest week away, we were so surprised by how much we got for our money!! Would 100% come back.

Great hotel, friendly staff

Pros: There are not a lot of rooms, so it was very quiet around the pool and on the beach. There was never a fight for space. Friendly staff!
Cons: Wish the apartments had a kettle and some cups. Some sort of self-catering facilities.
Location: Location is great for people who want peace and quiet. Kardamena is a short busride away and the bus stop is at the hotel entrance.
The Sweet Kalimera apartments are great value for money. It's very quiet, with a great pool and super friendly staff. It's also part of the Kalimera Mare hotel so you can always pop in to their reception to ask for advice and all their facilities are available as well. The beach is literally across the road which is great. The room itself is very basic, but very spacious for 2 people. If you want to explore the island for a day, there are car rentals right next door as well.
