Loved everything about this beautiful hotel - the staff was genuinely gracious and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning. The swimming pool and restaurant are also fabulous.

Lovely hotel, great restaurant
Posted 5 Oct 2023 on HotelsOverall had a lovely stay. The room (deluxe double) was comfortable and a decent size. Bathroom clean. Nice balcony with view of the city. It’s a ten minute walk down to the town (steepish walk back). Staff super friendly and helpful. Got lots of recommendations on where to eat, visit etc. The hotel restaurant is very good - our lunch and two dinners there among the best food we had here in Sifnos and Athens. Drinks a little pricey. We were there very end of September and so there was limited availability on some things (e.g. no red wine, even though there was plenty in all the supermarkets around…). Transfer to and from the port was expensive I thought. Pool was lovely. The hotel restaurant had a wasps nest I think - so all the wasps buzzing about from morning to evening in the restaurant made it uncomfortable for me. But this didn’t seem to bother others. Aside from that though we enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful property, it was so clean, modern and relaxing. The beds were so comfortable and the staff were incredibly helpful. Great range of food. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back again.

Great stay on Sifnos

Disappointing and a No no
Posted 26 Jul 2023 on HotelsWe were there in the middle of the summer and they’ve hacked the AC so it won’t cool below 23 C. So you come back in an oven of a room in the afternoon and it takes more than an hour for it to feel cooler. I wouldn’t expect this from a hotel I paid $500 to stay at.
Location is central, easy walk to Apollonia. However the road in front is a busy one, not exactly relaxing to sit on the balcony.
The pool has been renovated so looks pretty but honestly the umbrellas don’t provide any shade at all, making the pool hard to hang out by.
Breakfast was ok, we were told everything is “fresh” from the little garden they have but it didn’t seem so, maybe just the tomatoes in the salad, everything else was like what you’d get in any other (much cheaper) hotel.

Staff at Nival are super helpful. Delicious breakfast each morning. Just a quick note about Sifnos.. you probably want to rent a car to see the whole island. The pick up shuttle service is fantastic and the staff was easily able to help us rent a car for the next two days. Apollonia is the place to stay and the restaurant Drimoni just down the street is delicious. One of our favorite meals while in Greece. Everything was gorgeous here.

A beautiful room, with lots of space. The pool area was really stunning with great views too. Port transfers were pricey (€25)

We loved this property! The staff was friendly, nice and extremely accommodating. It was conveniently located within walking distance to one of the main villages. Other areas a car was needed. Overall, it was great! We would definitely recommend this property and would like to return to Sifnos to explore other areas. Our stay was too short.
