I rate the hotel on the quality of sleep we had, which was BAD. The hotel was clean, staff nice, room large and decent. Nice safe neighborhood away from the beach and the strip but also easily walkable. Our sink was clogged when we arrived and they drained it immediately. Phew.
The problem was the air conditioner which would lightly blow coolish air and shut off completely and randomly all night. ( which explains the single sheet as a bed cover - which was still too much warmth). Opening our patio door was not an option because our room was located in a courtyard that was lit up as bright as daytime and there was no airflow in our direction.
Also the walls are thin. At midnight our neighbors headed out to party. We had the honor of hearing them prepare for their night out. We also got to listen to them arrive home at 4:30 and prepare for bed. Thankfully, that didn’t take too long and was less enthusiastic.
Breakfast was nice but appeared to be running out an hour prior to breakfast service ending. All the cheese, vegetables and yogurt were picked over by 9 am and the fresh fruit was just about finished. We had a slice of banana cake that was delicious and my son took the last boiled and fried egg. When we stood up to leave I noticed some guests where offered new yoghurts so I assume there was more food if you asked. But we eat small breakfasts so it didn’t matter to us.

Dear Cindy, you just stayed 1 night (!!!) and we are really very surprised about your negative review.As we as hotel are not responsible for the behavior of the other guests and if you stayed longer we would have find a solution.Regarding the breakfast you could have ordered extras and we prepared them that minute.We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay, but also think that your review doesn't reflect our work and effort.

We booked very last minute and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us.
The property is immaculately clean and tidy, nothing is to much trouble, Would definitely come back

Wonderful boutique hotel within walking distance to pretty much everything, but far enough away to be nice and quiet in the evenings. Staff were very friendly and the pool area was very nice and clean. ευχαριστώ

The hotel and grounds were beautiful, felt like luxury.
They maybe could get some more sunbeds as I imagine they will run out in the summer and maybe some cups for the rooms but apart from that it was a lovely hotel with friendly staff.

This hotel was just as it looked in the photos - clean, modern, stylish. The location was pretty good - 5 min walk to the beach/centre, bus stops just down the road for getting to Anthony Quinn Bay, Lindos etc. Also, we didn’t realise breakfast was included so it was a nice surprise to have that each morning and to a pretty good standard too. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Great Modern family run hotel. Lovely pool and sna

Pros: It has just had an excellent and tasteful refurbishment. The rooms and balconies are well designed. There is ample parking and great sun beds.
Cons: It would be good to have a small table on the balcony.
Location: Lots of things in the nearby town and enormous beach. Easy access by bus to Rhodes town and Lindos.
We really enjoyed our 2weeks here. Close to the town and beach but quiet and private. The owners are lovely and very friendly.

Great vacation
Posted 23 Aug 2018 on HotelsWe had a great vacation. Madison is located very close to the center, buss stops and a super market. The room is excellent - bed very comfortable, the air condition works absolutely quiet which is very important (been at a nice hotel where the noisy a/c didnt let me sleep all vacation). We will probably stay at the same hotel next year.
For those who arrive after midnight - attention, the reception is closed after 11 pm. There is a small black board where the name and room number will be written. As we were not informed about this, it took us some time to wonder what do until we noticed the board, however, this is the only one negative point I would say about Madison.

The lobby and pool area were clean and good but the rooms were not very clean. We had sand and dust in the bedsheets. There was no real door to the bathroom just a glass door and you heard everything.... not quite relaxing.
The breakfast and staff were very friendly and kind. Short walk to faliraki main street and the beach.
