She is great with taking care of us: we felt likd we were her kids.she accommodated our transportations and allow us to check in early.

The property owner is just so kind, intelligent and considerate. She and her staff are so focused on your well-being. I would stay here again and again. Great locaton.

As I explained you, my house is on the first floor of LAVA OIA'S, so my guests on the houses of ground floor plans are my fellow neighbors and as I travel a lot, I try to treat my guests as I want to treat me on my trips, especially when I travel in a country without knowing its language!!!!

I cannot recommend this property enough. If you are looking for an authentic, traditional Greek experience this is the place for you. The view is to die for, the room and bed is comfortable, and the location has perfect access to the road and to the small village/shopping area of Oia. The best part of this property is the owner. She loves what she does, prepared us a delicious breakfast each morning, and gave us great recommendations of what to do in Santorini and Naxos. We had missing luggage from our flight to Greece and she even went to the Santorini airport herself to try to track it down. I will be back to Santorini again just to stay at Lava Oias!

Dear mrs Rebecca and daughters, as I explained you, my guests are my neighbors , as my house is located above the houses I rent. As I travel a lot, I understand how difficult is to travel in a country of which you don't know the language!!!! I want my guests to feel save, to help them in difficult cases, enjoy the view and suggest them to visit the interesting places of Santorini island. I n addition you are very nice people, so you deserve the best treatment!!!

The location in Oia is excellent, the apartment has a front courtyard which offers most amazing view of the caldera while you sit and relax in the lounging chairs that are provided. The apartment we stayed in "Superior Studio" itself is very small, and may feel claustrophobic to some as the bedroom is built into the hill. The bathroom is very tiny and unsuitable for anyone who is very tall and has special needs, the apartment itself is very tiny and unsuitable to anyone who is not physically agile. You need to walk down (and back up to the street) on a long set of stairs which is not recommended for anyone older, or for anyone with physical problems or special needs. The host was very friendly.

Property is not liveable. Not allowed to dispose toilet paper in toilet, hot water to be turned on only when needed, shower is awful, the water comes out to the floor. Steps to go up and horrible.

1) in all the villages of santorini we throw only in the garbage the dirty toilet papers : I explained you upon your arrival, that due to the traditional architecture of santorini the houses are digged in the soil and parts of traditional houses are located below public roads. So if the community exscavated the public roads to install tubes to direct the dirty waters to the central public biological sewer system a) could destroy the traditional houses and b) in case they could install the tubes, they might install too, a strong pump and the strong noisy of it would prevent the touristis and the inhabitants to enjoy in peacethe great caldera and volcano view!!!.
For avoiding the above, they installed a number of biological septic tanks and as on summer the population in the caldera is about 7 times more than in winter we try to avoid unpleasant consequences.
2) The "Steps to go up and horrible" are the public stair roads restaured by the support of european community.......
I'm sorry that you hadn't enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Posted 8 Jun 2019 on HotelsLava Oia. We loved our stay in this place. Perfect place to stay in Oia-Santorini. Location was perfect not far from the local shopping, restaurants and the famous 3 blue domes. All of this was walking distance.
The host of this place was very nice and friendly. She went out of the way and gave service to us. The host is such a lovable person. This is a traditional cave house which was built almost 100 years ago. So it was a great feeling to live in this cave house where people used to live 100 years ago. It’s a very traditional house. You will love it. We booked this place because of location. It’s perfect in every way. We had the perfect caldera view which ever person wants who visits Santorini. You cannot go wrong by choosing this location. Most of the hotels in Santorini during summer is very expensive but this was perfect priced.
