Only one night at teh end of a trip but it was very comfortable and teh pool looked nice
Well located with a very short walk to the centre of town
Reception staff v friendly. Good breakfast on a terrace with great views
Only "challenge" was finding the car park - I suggest they have a small map made for guests as google maps isn't helpful
Overall; a good place to stay i- good value and comfortable

Our stay at Orama was a mixed bag. The hotel seemed very nice, but pictures were very misleading. Rooms were small and not clean.
We had a problem with the air conditioning in the room. It made a terrible noise and the side of the panel came loose. It also made condensation drips, which fell on to the bed.
We spoke to the receptionist about this, but he seemed baffled and offered no real solution. We ended up moving the bed, because i don’t want condensation drips on my head, or the whole cooler.
When moving the bed, we quickly noticed how dirty it was behind the bed and the stains present on the sides. It was as if somebody puked on the bed and they only changed the sheets and linnen.
We didn’t make use of the pool, so we had little to complain about except for the ridiculous opening hours. The pool opens at 10:30 and checkout is expected at 11:00. The pool also closes at 18:30.
Staff was kind and breakfast was alright. Overall, would not be coming back.

Great property and a real value! Staff is excellent even when I made a mistake of thinking I was checking out the next day, and they found me a new room.
Breakfast was generous and rooms and views were great.

Posted 29 Jun 2022 on HotelsThe place was dirty, found a huge ball of long hair on top of the bed. The rooms are very tight, the space between the bed and the walls is less than 20 cm/8in.
The hotel is in a hill, lots of stairs, very uncomfortable overall.

Amazing boutique hotel
Posted 13 Sep 2018We have stayed in elounda many times at different hotels. We came across the Orama which is new and it appealed because of its location to the town square and boutique status. We were not disappointed. We had a beautiful superior room in block D with a stunning panoramic view. Lots of nice touches - coffee machine, kettle, robes, slippers, beach towels etc etc. The pool area is amazing. The breakfast restaurant has lovely views also - the food is good but definitely needs to include toast! The staff were some of the best staff I have ever met in any hotel.
Overall we were very pleased to have found the hotel and will definitely return.

Lovley hotel but has some flaws. Lots of steep stairs to negotiate, some without handrails and we felt the bathroom area was poorly designec wasting a lot of space and making the toilet ans shower spaces unnecessarily small.

Posted 9 Sep 2017The Orama hotel is newly openned and probably the best in downtown Elounda. Their Facebook page has pictures that well represent the look and feel of the interior and exterior design. The public areas are beautiful and the pool is truly amazing.
There are still some shakedown issues, plus snagging work going on, but none of this adversely affected our 9 day stay in 3302.
Book now for 2018.
