Extremely happy with this hotel. It exceeded my expectations, with the room being of a good standard, the breakfast and evening meal being a decent size and produce. No issues during my stay (long weekend) and the staff were friendly and professional. I would stay here again.

Not suitable for disabled people . Lift inside feels like it's going to fail and very small had to fold mobility walker up every time go in or out as so small. The bathroom door was missing the lock, shower missing handle on inside and crack in window floors very creaky and noisy.

Excellent value for money. Staff lovely and the breakfast is great. It’s fairly basic in the room but it’s all we needed for a short break.

Another stay at the carlton for us.Once again the hotel staff were great.Really good nights rest,Nice and quite.
A walk into town takes about 15 mins and is worth visiting

Supposed to pay on arrival and had already charged my card prior to arrival. Rooms very tired, tv didn’t work, carpets all thread bare. Needs a refurb
