Lovely hotel just a shame other houses up the street rather in disrepair and unpleasant, which is no reflection on the Andover which is well presented. Only problem couldn't open the window for fresh air they did supply a air conditioning fan.

Hello Jackie. Thank you for your review. I have just checked the window to ensure all is well. The upper window opens as wide as you would like it to open. It is just the bottom window that is not on an opener for guest safety reasons.

I had excellent service from reception and bar/restaurant. Decor is attractive and lounge and rooms comfortable. Chef is excellent, dishes imaginative and tasty. Good breakfast.
Only negative is steep stairs to bedroom.
