Posted 5 Aug 2021 on HotelsAbsolutely terrible. The “stables” building we stayed in was so badly sound insulated that we literally were privy to every conversation in rooms above and around us, as well as snoring, moving of bags, flushing toilets etc.
The room was “newly renovated” within the last 10 years, but the renovation was so cheap that it was more about a superficial product than comfort. Bed was so hard we woke up with aches.
Picture shows how the “do not disturb” sign fell under the door frame on accident - which just shows how poor quality it was, and how bad the insulation was - zero insulation around the doorframe, as well as really thin walls and no carpet or anything to catch sounds.
The staff was overall ok, but mainly summer workers, so any issues were met with “here are some earplugs” rather than proper fixing of the problem. Online they continue to claim “they’re in the middle of renovation” - they are not.
Dinner options are not so great. Breakfast was really good though!! Just like everyone says.
Other buildings are not as bad, which just shows you cannot count on consistency.

A short, but most enjoyable stay
Posted 8 Apr 2018 on Hotelswe arrived late and received our key at the restaurant from a very friendly receptionist. The room was in an old stable and very nicely renovated. we slept well, it was wonderfully quiet. we had to leave early, so that we could not enjoy our breakfast (with a lovely view on the Baltic Sea); instead, we were allowed to prepare take away sandwiches. Very nice!

Unique Hotel

We were on business, spending our days working in Harrislee Germany, so didn't get to see very much of the local area hence the middling review.

Nice country hotel.
Posted 30 Aug 2016Hotel is set on beautiful grounds with gorgeous views of fjord. Offers free breakfast with lots of choices. Bedrooms are very small no ac or bath tub. Staff super friendly and helpful. Would recommend .

Worth it, nice hotel.
Posted 11 Jul 2016 on HotelsHad the luxury flat for one night. Very clean, spacious. Good view over the golf course, the ocean cannot be seen much. Two bedrooms was nice and the couch was good for napping as well :) Hot tub worked very well.

Charming country resort
