It is a huge oversight to name two branches of this hotel with the same name, causing a mix-up and wasting our precious travel time. The location is nothing special, but good for a travel stop. There was a strange smell coming from our AC unit. Breakfast was prompt and the location seemed pretty quiet.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the world's largest hotel franchising company by the number of hotels. Approximately 9,200 affiliated hotels span across over 95 countries. These 9,200 hotels only have 24 names to go by, and they all depend on several things. Such as; what type of rooms are provided, what amenities they have, and other upgrades. The Days Inn on I-80 is named Days Inn I-80 to limit confusion, and we are on opposite ends of the town as Grand Island is a big town with over 20 hotels. All hotel confirmation emails have the address on them to also help. Thank you.

Tv channels kept changing without us changing it. Carpet was dirty and not vacuumed upon arrival with visible pieces of trash on the floor.

Since we did not receive any complaints during your stay we did not know there were any issues to resolve. We have had a few guests in there after you and they did not complain about the issues you put here. We did not know about any issues while you stayed, if we did we would have resolved any issues we could have. Check-in was quick, easy and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. Breakfast was good (warm, not just cereal and donuts).

The staff accommodated my request for a handicapped bathroom. The breakfast isn’t too bad. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles. It is older but the room we had was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay there again

What a run down place with no up keep. Lots of shady people hanging out there.

We will be calling about your review as we already told Expedia that your reservation was declined due to multiple issues we had when you came to check in. One is that all guests have to have a valid ID and you said you did not have one, then you tried to give us one that has been expired for 8 years and was from Grand Island. We have stated several times and have told our third parties that we, along with all hotels in town, do not rent to Grand Island residents. We have several events in town and sell out along with the whole town and surrounding towns so we do not rent to residents. I assume we tried to help and offer the room with a deposit but it says you also did not have a way to keep a hold until checkout. There was nothing we could do after that, so we will be contacting Expedia to inform them of this.

room smelled like stale cigarettes, someone had smoked in there

Our entire facility inside is non-smoking but customers are allowed to smoke outside and customers may smell like smoke as well.
