Situated in the countryside away from the main roads , Alle Scuole is a great place to stay - it even has an elevator !
The manager waited for us just a little after 9pm (which was the limit for the check in timing) and we highly appreciate that gesture
The room was very clean and quiet, and we loved the decor (plus the banana bread!)
Thank you once again for the lovely stay and we hope to revisit in the future ;)

Beautiful place to stay
Posted 19 Aug 2020 on HotelsBeautiful traditional style house, large airy room, rural setting so very quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately workmen arrived early morning to begin essential work on the roof.

As we told you works was essentials (rain from the roof!!) and we started workers at 9.00am outside the building. It's really hot in this period and they would like to start works at 6.30am.
We made everything to don't bother you, we are very sorry that this was not appreciated.

Bologna stay
Posted 2 Oct 2019 on HomeAwayWhile we only stayed one night, the property was exactly as described, was out in the rural setting, had a nice outside area and was overall a great place to stay. The only complaint if you call it that is that the rooms are not very sound proof so we could hear everything going on around us. Other than that it was a great place to stay and we recommend it.

Great Hotel, Frindly staff, can't find any fault
Posted 23 Feb 2017I had a great stay at this hotel, it is super clean. Having not too many rooms makes this hotel intimate and extreamly pleasant.
My only issue is the location as I was on business and I found it a little too far from every where. Best advice is to definitely hire a car to really enjoy your stay there.
The staff are absolutely wonderful and they like to say yes .

Room 13: (2 nights) For some reason room was hotter than outside, making us sweet even with the small fan on. Wallis are paper than, as we can hear snoring of the guy in the next room, You need to have car to reach Bologna so is not convenient as parking is expensive 20euro for 8 hours. Will not use again

Good Hotel, Nice staff

Nice Country Hotel on the Outskirts of Bologna
Posted 11 Feb 2015This pleasant hotel occupies a former schoolhouse (hence the name), but it's thoroughly modern inside. Located in the countryside on the outskirts of Bologna. Good for those traveling by car, but you may need GPS to find it.
