Positive hotel with a great location

The hotel is new, the rooms are really fresh. However my room had a constant quest with the lights on.The excellent central air conditioner does not turn on heating, only cooling and drying. Among the advantages is a small pool on the roof with the opportunity to sunbathe and just spend time in the fresh air with a harbor view.

Not worth a cent.

Air conditioning was not working. Three hours after being in the room, called reception desk to solve it. Asked for another room; had none available (don’t believe that). The maintenance person was not available. They brought a FAN to solve it. Spent a very hot night in a small room with no windows! Regarding the bathroom: toilet is in one corner of the room and the shower is in another. Lavatory is right in front of your bed. So you have to cross from one side to the other when using your bathroom! No restaurant. No services. They did not even try to look for another hotel for me. I will never again reserve there and do not recommend it! Not worthy a single penny spent!

Dear Jeannete, I am surprised to read this review because the situation and your experience in the Hotel was not as you mentioned it. Yes its true that you had some problems turning on the AC in your room, it was not because it didn’t work it was because you wanted the room in a temperature less than 18º Grad and that’s not possible, to make your stay more comfortable we lend you a portable AC (not a FAN as mention). You wrote also about the distribution of the room, this type of bathroom and organization you can see it before making a reservation with us. I also don’t understand the comment about the windows, you had 2 big windows (3 meters) in your room. In Sercotel Puerto Luz we do have a Restaurant that is open every day during the week and offers a healthy daily menu, this Restaurant opens till 15:00, because your arrival was around 17:00 you didn’t see it open. I am really sorry you didn’t feel comfortable at our Hotel but we did ask you at the check out if you had any comments about your stay: you and your husband seemed to see happy and didn’t told us any of the points you are mentioning in this review. Not bad not good

The staff is very friendly but the place of breakfast is too small and crowded. Air conditioning is soon bad. The room is too small but not that Mach bad for one night If want to stay more check out the size. The location is not in a good area and should be careful, although, I haven't seen any issue it was told.

Close to the beach of Las canteras :)

Amazing hotel with a good location

The hotel was incredible! The staff was extremely nice and polite. We had a total blast staying there. The only bad side was that the rooftop bar wasn’t open yet, and it would’ve been amazing to enjoy drinks on the rooftop terrace.

The hotel was very good for a short stay in Gran Canaria. It‘s located in the near of a famous beach and a lot of restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel wasn‘t very clean and in need of renovation. the service at the reception was very good, the staff were friendly!

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort. Das Zimmer war sehr schmutzig. Im Safe waren gebrauchte Schuhe. Überall waren Haare auf dem Boden. Es gibt zwar eine Kaffeemaschine aber für eine Kapsel zahlt man extra nochmal 1€ und muss sich diese erst unten bei der Rezeption abholen. Die Dusche ist nicht richtig dicht. Ich bin „froh“dass wir nur eine Nacht dort verbracht haben. Wir würden nicht nochmal kommen.
