Enjoyable stay at Field View
Posted 7 Dec 2023 on HotelsWe had a an enjoyable stay at Field View. Maria was very accommodating and helpful. The room was comfortable, the facilities were good and a wide range of food for breakfast. The local pub was a 5 minutes walk away which had a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely come back again to Field View.

Wonderful B&B in a quiet village
Posted 18 Oct 2023 on HotelsBooked at the last minute due to being let down by other accommodation, and it proved a great weekend.
A lovely room with a very comfortable bed and great shower, both of which I needed after running a marathon, plus an amazing full English Breakfast.
Maria was helpful and accommodating, and made me feel very welcome. There was also a great village pub just a couple of minutes walk away, serving excellent food and ales.

Wifi and a cosy place to chill . Yup they got that. Freshly brewed coffee .. check
Free parking right at the site .. yeah you guessed it right . Sorted .

Special find
Posted 13 Mar 2023 on HotelsA very welcoming host and really made me feel at home. Room was spotless, very warm with a great shower. Plenty of tea and coffee in room and breakfast was one of the best you will find.
Local pub just a few minutes walk does great food and very friendly. Big sports field and free car park opposite makes for easy
parking and a place to exercise my dogs.
Loved my stay and will return. Thank you Maria

The place is lovely and so are the owners.
There is a place to sit and chill, eat or watch tv. The rooms are clean and well ventilated. I have booked to stop for a few more nights.,

Little Gem

Posted 5 Jul 2021 on HotelsWhat a lovely stay! The place is beautiful, set in a peaceful village and the accommodation great - perfectly formed, decorated and equipped.
Maria does an ah-may-ZING breakfast, which really sets you up for the day ahead! Nothing was too much trouble, and full of useful local info.
She's clearly worked really hard at guests being able to stay within the COVID-secure guidelines, lots of thoughtful touches - and has the friendliest cat who I'm now quite attached to :)
Wouldn't hesitate to return and very happy to recommend to other potential guests, you won't regret it. Parking available on site but I used the playing fields opposite - loads of room. You have your own entrance/exit separate to the house, everything is self-contained so you don't need to worry about disturbing anyone. Loved my few days here and can't wait to come back :)
