"You are in the Tenderloin and the neighborhood has it's characters, BUT I wasn't afraid to walk alone at night - I was just on alert. The hotel was very cute and staff was amazing. Love the shared kitchen/lounge area. Bed was comfy, clean and cozy. My only gripes, not much counter space for your toiletries and it would be nice if they updated the electrical units to accommodate USB/C's outlets like most hotels.And the rugs throughout the hotel looked pretty dirty so it gave me a first bad impression.- but NOT in the room- room was clean. I walked everywhere and it was convenient to many spots I wanted to go. A couple of blocks away from the Bart and very close to the Warfield theater. Tip: bring earplugs - the characters outside to get pretty loud and if you are a light sleeper - it can be an issue. Again, STAFF was super helpful and friendly. "
