Our stay was great! Our room was clean, the staff was SO friendly and accommodating which truly made our entire stay. We appreciated that so so much. They gave us recs of things to do/where to eat and were so helpful when we needed to extend our room stay an extra night. Close to many things we did in the city and felt safe since we needed our key cards to get into the lobby! Would not mind staying here again!

I love staying at botique hotels that are inside the neighborhoods when I visit big cities. This one fits the bill perfectly. Everything is within a 15-25 minute walk and public transportation is within a 5 minute walk. The staff was amazing and the rich history of the property makes the stay even more enjoyable.

Staff was super friendly and the room was nicely cleaned. Breakfast was "small bites" but they had tummy croissants and some pastries as well as yogurt and coffee/tea. There's also a nice little cafe right across the street that serves delicious breakfast bagels and other breakfast if you need something bigger. Parking was kind of a hassle but that's for most places in SF

Staff were nice and the room was spotless. Loads of great restaurants within walking distance. (And I mean LOADS!!!!) Area can be a wee bit sketchy in the evenings but it is well lit. Just be aware if your surroundings. Hotel has security staff at night.

Hotel Julian was a great experience for my family (two teens and a service dog). The staff was attentive, welcoming, and very accommodating to my son’s and service dog’s needs. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown and surrounded by many great food options and a few bars. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and modern. While there is no on-site parking, there are two nearby private paid parking lots within walking distance. Overall, it’s a great hotel for a short stay, and I would definitely stay here again. Note: the hotel elevator was not working during our stay.
