Charming alpine hotel, but pricey
Posted 17 Feb 2020 on HotelsThe view and service at breakfast were the best part. The hotel is incredibly charming, though the main living spaces were a bit small and difficult to navigate around with 5 people and luggage because of the layout. We had a meal downstairs at Binis the evening we arrived and it was good. The check in was a bit clunky, the housekeepers walked into our room at 8am the morning we were checking out, and when we checked out we needed to pay the City Tax and they could only take cash so they sent me to the bank. We had two showers in our two bedroom apartment and one didn’t work at all.
If it hadn’t been so expensive, I would have been very impressed. As it was, we would stay there again but couldn’t decide if it was worth the price we paid.

What more can I say, wonderful people that run a hotel that is perfect for any traveller! I saw families with kids in their element, lots for them to do... couples chilling near the fire, or using the spa area... then boarders like us who used it as our base! The staff are amazing and would want to stop there again! A credit to a family run business and you deserve every success!

convenient with public transportation
Posted 17 Jun 2019 on HotelsAbsolutely loved this hotel and the tub, food was great, pizza downstairs at binis is amazing! Grocery store two min walk away in front of bus stop with great prices. Was not hard to get to via public transportation with a lot of suitcases. Hotel gives you a free bus card. Lovely town with good views of sunset. Would stay again!! The croissants were amazing at breakfast, as well as the eggs. Also elevator is great.
