Really nice bulding and a great location right on the main square of the town in an old building that was in really good shape.
Checked in around 9pm. No towels in the room and the bathroom garbage can was full of trash and the cleaning supplies were under the sink counter. Someone had unplugged all of the tv/cable box cables. Not sure if the sheets were clean but the bed was made.
Called to notify them - spoke with someone - put on hold - waiting... - spoke to someone else and explained the situation again. Asked to hold again but i did not. Eventually someone used their key and opened the room to come in and clean the bathroom.
What a shame.

Bedford hotel is walking distance to Sunset park, about 4 mins drive to hiking trail.

This is clearly not to be confused with a 5 star hotel by any stretch. It was clean enough, the bathroom and shower acceptably clean. It's a roof over your head in a decent bed for the value price you paid. The A/C is wonky, but it works. If you are fussy and picky- maybe stay somewhere else. The location is unbeatable as is the value.

I like that it’s close to the stores and it’s at Downtown area. It’s nice to stay on a hotel that has been around for years.

Manager or someone opened our door with his key, unannounced and unexpectedly, at 6:30 pm and also 1:00 am. Totally unbelievable. They provided us with half a roll of toilet paper, 1 large towel for 2 people, the t.v. got 2 channels (when it wasn't raining) and there was no breakfast provided even though they run a restaurant on the main floor. The front desk receptionist didn't apologize or offer anything to make us happy. She didn't
even seem surprised/shocked. We checked out immediately. Should've had our money refunded in my opinion. We will never stay here again.

We were in town to do a 10 K run race, that took place on the Square, which is where this hotel is located.
It is good value for one night, and comfy beds. Sure, in some ways it's dated but it's our go- to hotel whenever we are in town. :)
