Staff were nice but the property is showing its age. The lack of an elevator and labyrinth to reach the room was a bit of a pain.

We are currently in the process of refurbishments around the hotel, to help improve of guest experiences. Due to us being a grade 2 listed building we are unable to install a lift to the building. The hotel is in a very peaceful countryside location, but only 10 to 15 minutes from Gloucester, with good road links to the rest of the Cotswolds. Check in was easy and the staff were all very friendly, even though it was a very busy bank holiday weekend with two weddings and coach parties arriving. The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent, with plenty of choice and at reasonable prices. The bedrooms were very spacious, with really big comfortable beds and good en-suite facilities. We had a lovely stay and would definitely book again.

Loved the ambience, the building and the beautiful garden. The staff were very friendly and highly professional. Nothing not to like!!!!!!!
