Did not like the self check in. Retrain track just 100 yards in front of the the hotel.

The chef Kurt not only prepared outstanding meals but he went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He also provided us with useful local information that proved very helpful. Nadine also made us feel right at home from the night we arrived to the morning we departed. We felt we were leaving two friends behind.
We did not like the check in! A hotel that is so excellent in every other way should have a live person to greet guests.

I stood there because they had free parking. I also was promised air conditioning, which was not there.

We have plenty of parking spaces around the hotel and you can also park in the underground car park for free during your stay.It's true that we don't have air conditioning in the rooms.However, our building insulates the heat from outside very well, which is why the temperatures are still pleasant even in summer.We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us.Best regardsYour City Hotel Glarnerland team

Best hotel to stay at whilst in Näfels.

I booked my parents into this hotel whilst I’m working in Näfels, Switzerland and they thought highly of the hotel and the room was spotlessly presented. Thank you to the staff who also spoke good English who assisted them during breakfast. I have since booked this hotel for January for another visit. Danke.
